Staying longer

Extending to 60 days

The VOA can be extended once, at the same fee as the first 30 days.

    Apply before day 30

    Submit to an immigration office such as Imigrasi Denpasar before your VOA expires.

  2. 02

    Bring your documents

    Application form, passport, a copy of your VOA and a passport-sized photo.

  3. 03

    Pay IDR 500,000

    The same fee as your first VOA.

  4. 04

    Or hand it to an agent

    An agent handles the paperwork and office visits for an extra fee.

Mistakes that cost you money

Most unexpected VOA costs come from one of these five slips.

    Overpaying unofficial sites

    Apply at evisa.imigrasi.go.id or pay at the official airport counter.

  • 02 / 05

    Forgetting the levy

    The IDR 150,000 Love Bali levy is a separate, mandatory payment.

    Extending too late

    Overstaying is fined IDR 1,000,000 per day.

  • 04 / 05

    Wrong purpose of visit

    The VOA does not cover work or long-term residency.

    Ignoring exchange rates
